On the same day, Xiangxi Customs issued RCEP certificate of origin for us $2.78 million electrolytic manganese sheet exported to Japan by Xiangxi Fengda Alloy Technology Co., Ltd.
The certificate of origin, known as "paper gold", is an important certificate for RCEP Member States to enjoy preferential treatment such as tariff reduction and exemption.
Previously, electrolytic manganese sheet exported to Japan had to pay 3% tariff. With this certificate, the company's $2.78 million electrolytic manganese sheet exported to Japan can enjoy 0.2% tariff preference in the first year, which will greatly improve the market competitiveness of products.
Fu Yuqin, foreign trade business manager of Xiangxi Fengda Alloy Technology Co., Ltd., said that the five tickets exported to Japan could enjoy an import tariff preference of nearly 40000 yuan.
According to the agreement, after the implementation of RCEP, enterprises can enjoy tariff relief in the destination country with the certificate of origin, which enhances the international competitiveness of China's products.
In recent days, Xiangxi customs is also actively guiding enterprises to apply for RCEP certificate of origin, helping enterprises enjoy tariff preferences and enhance the international competitiveness of products.
Liu Rushan, chief of the comprehensive section of Xiangxi customs, reminded the majority of enterprises that import and export enterprises should actively apply for and issue certificates and make full use of RCEP policy dividends.
