The "beixi-2" natural gas pipeline is from Russia to Germany via the Baltic Sea seabed. The project pipeline consists of two branches, with a design annual gas transmission capacity of about 55 billion cubic meters, which can bypass Ukraine to transport Russian natural gas to Germany and other European countries.
Russia's "beixi-2" joint stock company said in a statement on the 6th that the "beixi-2" project will help to meet the long-term demand for imported natural gas in the European energy market and ensure reliable and safe energy supply under reasonable economic conditions.
